Chongqing Bloomage International Sports Center, as an upgraded version of Bloomage LIVE•Wukesong, has a total investment of RMB 4.8 billion, a coverage area of 480 mu, and a total construction scale of about 600,000 square meters. The scenic area, located in Banan District, one of the nine core districts of the main urban area, enjoys the three-dimensional and complete transportation system as it is close to Yudong Station, a hub for seamless transfer of Rail Transit Line 2 and Line 3, and there are more than ten direct bus routes to the scenic area, making it convenient and fast in transport.
Chongqing Bloomage International Sports Center is composed of multiple cultural and sports venues and compound commercial businesses, such as the super-first-class cultural and sports complex of venues, namely “One stadium and three halls”, Chongqing Times Art Museum, Commercial Pedestrian Street, Bloomage International Cinema, Bloomage LIVE·023 Community, which can meet the needs of international and domestic high-end sports and cultural projects and mass activities. The self-built municipal platform is seamlessly connected with the rail transit. As a 2000-seat multifunctional hall covering a construction area of about 2000 square meters, M space is a comprehensive supporting training center with a compound and variable space to meet the requirements of international A-level events. The 35000 -seat stadium, with a construction area of about 28,000 square meters, was upgraded and renovated by Bloomage Group with an investment of more than RMB 200 million. It is open to citizens for free throughout the year, and is the main venue for public fitness and mass sports.
The5000 -seat stadium, with a construction area of about 19,000 square meters, is the home court of the only NBL professional basketball club in Chongqing invested and established by Bloomage Group. The club successfully entered the NBL playoffs last year and ranked sixth.
Since its operation, the scenic area has hosted more than 320 events such as the World Curling Competition, the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, the International Badminton Open, the International Creative Week, the Sports Meeting of Banan District, the DOTA E-sports League, and concerts by Yu-Ching Fei, Jeff Chang and Kris Wu.
